peel off the skin
Use a wire stripping knife or wire stripping pliers to remove the outer skin and shielding layer of the super six types of double shielding network cable according to the size shown. Pay attention to adjusting the blade depth when peeling to avoid cutting the new wire.
Handling shielding
Fold the shield back over the sheath. If there is a ground wire (e.g. woven mesh), wrap it around the shield for 1 1/2 and then cut off the extra wires. Make sure the shield is in close contact with the ground to reduce electromagnetic interference.
Untie the twisted pair
Carefully untangle the twisted pair wires and arrange them in the desired order. Super 6 mesh cables are usually arranged using a 568B line sequence (white orange, orange, white green, blue, white blue, green, white brown, brown). Cut the wires at bevel angles to leave sharp corners for easy insertion into the crystal head.
Penetration crystal head
Thread the made cable into the internal branch of the crystal head in sequence. Note that the threading sequence should be consistent with the previous arrangement, and ensure that the wire end face is flat to avoid burrs affecting the performance.
Trim excess cables
Pull the inner splitter of the crystal head down the wire until it reaches the unknotted part. Then, use beveled pliers or pliers to trim the excess cable at the front end so that it is flush with one end of the threading piece.
Insert crystal head housing
Insert the cable made in the previous step into the crystal head case, paying attention to the correct insertion direction (usually flat down). Make sure the cable fits tightly inside the crystal head case.
Crimp crystal head
Use network pliers or special crimping pliers to press the crystal head tightly. Make sure the force is moderate when crimping to avoid damage to the reed or weak crimping due to too deep pressing.
III. Precautions
Reduce the length of the knob: Pay attention to minimize the length of the knob of the wire that does not penetrate the crystal head splitter. Do not unknob all the wires that have been peeled off, otherwise the electrical performance of the jumper will deteriorate.
Threading sequence: When cable threading, pay attention to arranging the threading sequence according to the standard to minimize the cross between the cables. This helps to maintain signal stability and reduce interference.
Insertion depth: When cutting off excess cables after wearing the threading parts, make sure it is flush with one end of the threading parts. After inserting the crystal head shell, plug it all the way to the front end of the shell, otherwise it will cause unreliable contact.
Crimping force: The power of the crimping wire should be well controlled. The force assembly causes the reed to be pressed too deeply, which affects the contact reliability with the socket; the small force will cause the reed to be unreliable in contact with the wire.
Grounding treatment: Ensure that the shielding layer and ground wire are properly grounded to improve anti-interference ability and transmission signal quality.
IV. Testing and Verification
Use the cable tester to test whether the connection of the network cable is smooth. Connect the two ends of the cable tester to the two ends of the network cable respectively, and observe whether the indicator lights on the cable tester are turned on in sequence. If the indicator lights are all on and in the correct order, it means that the network cable connection is normal.
