The optical fiber connection technology requires higher requirements and the splicing is more complicated.
The splicing of optical fibers requires melting the optical fiber end faces at high temperatures and then bonding them together by the viscosity of quartz glass. Therefore, the equipment required for the connection is more complicated and the technical requirements are relatively high.
